Palmer Lake

Palmer Lake has one of the "tri-lakes" in this region.  After many years of water rights dispute, the lake is now full again (7-15) and a centerpiece of this quaint, mountain town.  Christmastime lights up the huge Christmas star on the slope of the mountain, visible from I-25 to the west.  Palmer Lake is known for its Chautaqua history and for its currently active art colony.
