Happy New Year!

2012 is starting out busy with increased showings of homes for sale.  Many people are also looking for rentals, but the rental market continues to be in demand.  If looking for rental, tenants need to have their financial records in order - credit scores, proof of income, job history, references - and also be prepared to pay the non-refundable application fees, and, when accepted, the security deposit and the first month's rent to hold the property until move-in.  As for purchase, there is less inventory of homes for sale now, so we hope home prices will go up to give homesellers and owners more equity again.  Investors are taking advantage of this opportunity to build their residential rental portfolios for that mailbox money!  Call me so that I can help you with your real estate goals for the new year!
